Spanish Omelette!

I was watching this BBC program on "Ever wondered about food?" It is a documentary on understanding food in a scentific way.
This episode they were talking about eggs. In this programme they were also demostrating on how to cook simple dishes using the theme food of the day. Today dish is Spanish Omelette.
It was easy to cook, so I thought I give it a try. It was really simple and within half an hour it was done! My mum and sis tried it and gave it a 8/10 and 7/10 respectively. Not bad huh! I will work on the recipe and make it tastier the next time.

Ermm...

Found this stupid business operation hour board at Science Center Macdonalds.

Excuse me...why are you making the kids that visit Science Center confuse over the operation hours?
Would it be better to say that you are open daily from 8:00 am - 9:00 pm?
Or is it a brain storming question for the teacher to ask their students?

Shanghai Night!

Yesterday had dinner at Grand Shanghai. In case you do not know where Grand Shanghai is, it is at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel.

The decor of the restaurant makes you feel like you have stepped into the 1940s of Shanghai. What makes it more nostagic are the songs, they are not played from CD players, but are sung from this beautiful lady wearing cheongsam standing in the middle of the stage with a live band! "Ye Lai Xiang"..."He Re Jun Zai Lai" are just some of the songs she was singing.

Manage to take some shots from my handphone.

Sorry cannot see the stage. I was seating at a position that was blocked by a pillar.
The beautiful lady I was talking about.
Did I tell you that you can also dance? There was this old couple celebrating their wedding anniversary on that day and they were invited to dance. Soon after they were invited, their family and friends one by one slowly but surely making their way to the dance floor, and they all started dancing together. It was really funny but also equally heart warming. Well, after all you don't get to see this everyday.
