World Cup Fever...

Feeling sad because you don't have Starhub Cable TV to watch the World Cup?
Fear not...I am here to help you...
If you don't want to spend money on bulky and expensive outdoor antenna...or pay Starhub Cable TV any subscription fees...here are some DIY tip to get it for free!
Search through your wardrobe and search for an old useless wire hanger...
(lesson 101: wire hanger is a good conductor of electricity beacause they are made up of don't know what kind of metal...thats why they are higly recommended to be used as a subsitute outdoor antenna. Sucess rate: *****/*****)
Use a pliers to straighten out the hanger.
Afterwhich bend it into a "L" shape with the help of a pliers unless you have strong hands...
Scrapped off the tip of the shorter end of the "L" shape hanger exposing the wire...
Go behind your television set...if you are currently using the central cable antenna from SCV plugged it out...and try to poke the exposed "L" shape hanger to your TV antenna input.
(PLEASE TAKE NOTE! IF YOU ARE SCARED BEING ELECTROCUTED. PLEASE PUT ON GLOVES! THERE ARE HIGH POSSIBLE CHANCES THAT YOU MIGHT EXPERIENCE STATIC SHOCK.)
Another tip is try puting your TV set near to the window so that your DIY antenna can receive satelite transmission better(the hanger afterall is not that long)...or link your DIY antenna near to the window...
Try to manually search for an Indonesian Channel - SCTV
(take note of the logo...it will be at the top right hand corner screen).
My advise to you is to try tuning it during any World Cup matches...then you would know whether you are on the right channel.
If you are done and found the channel...Congratulations! You have got yourself free World Cup screening on your own TV set! The next thing to do is to whip out your snacks and drinks and enjoy it!
Apparently SCTV will be showing most or in fact all of the matches of World Cup...so you don't have to worry...
